Madeira is excited to announce that we upgraded and renovated our playing fields over the summer of 2016. The renovations include a full-size, cutting-edge tournament field (that will also serve as two practice fields), a new scoreboard, bleacher seating, restoration of the lower tennis court, and landscaping and hardscaping around the field.
An Unprecedented Gift Helps to Complete Phase 1 of the Dorm Modernization Project
In September 2014, The Board of Directors and Head of School Pilar Cabeza de Vaca announced that Madeira has met a $10 million challenge grant from an anonymous private foundation—the largest single gift in the school’s history.
In addition to her regular duties as a student, Chapin Brown ’19 has been involved in a collaborative process with her father, Gregory, to decide the most effective ways to contribute to the All the Difference campaign.
The Madeira School has a lot to be thankful for these days, namely the generous alumnae and other donors who have contributed many millions to our capital projects and the Madeira Fund over the past five years.
